Introductions

Hello Randy. I see you are a moderator here. Is this your forum?
Hey there Len.. our paths cross once more..

I started hanging here about two weeks ago, and they made me a mod... Me.. a Mod! Can you believe it?! It sort of reminds me about what Groucho said: "I wouldn't beloing to any club that would have me as a member."Makes me question their judgment, but there you go.. ;-) But no, it's not my forum. I already have enough venues to flush money away... But this does seem to be a nice place with a very wide range of coffee interests.

You've been active in the coffee community for years, I do know that. Having you as a mod here will be a benefit for this board. And I'm not just blowing smoke up your arse. :)

Hi, this is Joshuamo, glad to meet you all, I will be in China for another 6 months, in 10-15 years here will be the largest coffee market, I will have my first store set up in two months, let me know if you will stop by!

Good evening everyone! My name is Quinten, and I absolutely love this this forum. This is a treasure trove of information. My wife and I are big coffee drinkers, she prefers more of a flavored blend, but I definitely prefer a bold brew straight up. I had received the Keurig B60 K-Cup Brewer for Christmas from my parents, and I cannot stand the thing...I mean I really despise it. I've since sold it and we recently purchased a Capresso CoffeeTEAM TS brewer/grinder combo, and I must say that so far, we really like it.

We live in Dayton, Ohio so we're lucky to have a good number of Boston Stoker locations who locally roast a good selection and also carry a pretty good selection as well.

As I said, this site is wonderful. I've already found a great deal of helpful information and possibly another source for great coffee (rocketfuelcoffee).
Thanks for having us!

Hi everyone, my name is lynnibug and I am a long time coffee lover! Recently took on coffee from the business side. My coffee is low glycemic & diabetic friendly, & patented as thermogenic. Trying to learn all I can where ever I can, and this looked like a great place to learn!

Who would have thought... ?

Who would have thought a flock of sheep grazing would have later lead to this forum and a culture bound by a tasty beverage?

Starting with coffee early in college to stay awake and study, to social gatherings around coffee, to visiting coffee houses around the world, I think I am hooked.

I live on the east coast of the US and have engaged many adrenaline sports NOT fueled by my coffee interest, but instead enjoy relaxing with a cup. No sugar for me unless some specialty coffee drink happens to include a sweet addition (Chocolate).

My current interest in coffee is looking to a business venture in the industry. Research over the last year has me looking at several options. I hope to learn from the membership here and possibly visit places of recommendation.

Next month I may make a return trip to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and visit a few plantations.

I found this site via a google search for roasting equipment. Someone here has a roaster for sale, that post link showed up on the first page

Thanks for reading. :coffee:
