Introductions

Hello fellow coffee enthusiasts! I found the forum through cruising the web for coffee competitions. There was a thread here about the closing of the Canadian Nationals and the winner. After I saw how big the community was I set up an account and now I'm here.

I'm a home roaster, barista, coffee crazy, art student who is going to rock the calgary scene. Im going to nationals in the next years, i know it.

Welcome. Glad you found us.

Had a problem trying to POST YOUR PHOTOS in your reply ?

Notfuffy...... Firstly, welcome to the forum. I too had an issue trying to post a photo my first time. Evidently, the direct "browse your local computer for a photo to post" function is temporarily disabled. But I was helped with the following; "Go to www.imageshack.us and post your photos over there. It's pretty easy. After loading your chosen photo/photos, you can select the first icon at top, alongside your chosen photo, and you'll get a large window with various options. Copy and paste the computer-lingo alongside "Forum", which when you paste it into your post, will then become that photo. (.....geeze I hope that made sense? :images: ) Best, Al

Hello all. I am Jayson, originally from St. Petersburg, Fl. Now living in Brentwood, TN (Just south of Nashville) for the past 3 years. My two favorite expenditures (don't tell my gf) are cars and coffee. Love them both equally. I am prior service military and lived overseas, so travel is a close 3rd (was number 1, until I started getting in to cars and coffee). Taking my first cruise in May and a little bit nervous about it as I'm very susceptible to motion sickness.

Again, hello all. The site looks great and I look forward to enjoying some cups w/ the rest of you.

Sometimes I forget that not everyone who has Internet access and drinks coffee knows me. I am the one-man show behind "Espresso! My Espresso.com" (link in sig) and have been since its inception in Oct of 2000. Been participating in many coffee forums since then including alt.coffee till it got flushed into the sewers, Home Barista, CoffeeGeek, CoffeeKid, CoffeeSnobs, etc. I am the English-writing voice (keyboard?) behind Hottop USA creating ALL content on their entire website as well as the owners manual, and wrote the manual for the Vibiemme Domobar Super for the US importer. Nothing too exciting currently except I am about about to take delivery of the VBM DD rotary PID machine in a couple of weeks and will be plumbing that in, so a whole new world of entertainment there, no?
