Introductions

Re: Welcome, Introduce Yourself!

Thanks guys... anyone going to CoffeeFest next weekend? I am!

Re: Welcome, Introduce Yourself!

I would love to go but my plane lands around 2:30pm and i would not get there with enough time to check it out. I will be in Chicago for business. Any locals got any tips on hot spots or pointers for around town. I will be staying in downtown.

Re: Welcome, Introduce Yourself!

Can someone please tell me what it means when the icon is rolling beside a post? Can't find it anywhere and it must be doing for a reason, right?

Thanks! Oh.. and fresh pot of Kona on the counter... help yourself!

Lisa, those would be topics that have received 25 or more posted replies. It doesn't seem to apply to sticky topics like this one though.

The kona sounds good... I'll bring the biscotti. :)

Re: Welcome, Introduce Yourself!

Hmm you pointed out a small flaw. I'll have to see about adding that back. Those icons should be at the bottom of the page and they are not. Sorry about that.

Re: Welcome, Introduce Yourself!

Did not mean to flaw so early in my coffee forum career (takes a time out).

But hey, do I get a prize or something... like an Amana Radar Range or a Broyhill Livingroom Set? LOL!

OK, so today's pot for everyone to share is Jamaican Blue Mountain...

Loving this site!!!

Re: Welcome, Introduce Yourself!

Hi LIsa,

Don't worry....You didn't flaw....no time outs for you (so far).

Yes, you should get a prize for asking about that icon. I was wondering the same thing. I was also wondering how Mr. Caffe Biscotti knew what it meant????

Jamacian Blue Mountain sounds great, but it's so expensive now-a-days. I'd guard the coffee pot (and your beans) if I were you.

Have you ever tried Papua New Guinea? Its flavor is very similar.

Enjoy your day.

Re: Welcome, Introduce Yourself!

So the post to aspire to is a rolling icon? Gee, one of these days... Maybe I have to put in some coffee porn or something...

Re: Welcome, Introduce Yourself!

Not yet, we haven't turned on the DVD player...
