What coffee are you drinking right now?

I'm having and trying to use up a seasonal blend from a nearby roaster. I won't name the roaster as frankly, I'm not enjoying it as much as their other coffees. It is just too acidic for me. I probably should blend in some other beans to smooth it out a bit usually my attempts to alter a coffee fail.

I'm finishing off the seasonal blend that I have not been fond of. For whatever reason, it is much better this morning, quite good as a matter of fact. I can still detect the citrus notes but just more balance. I made it like I did every other pot from this bag. Some days coffee just comes out different. Maybe it is because it is cooler and drier this morning.

Today`s cup is a Guatemalan bean, roasted fairly dark, ground medium-coarse, and brewed to perfection in my 1956 Coffeematic percolator....I believe "Nectar Of The Gods" would be an appropriate description...

Ethiopian Konga roast by sump!

Celebes Kalossi and I must say, I'm not loving it. I've gotten a few good cups but it seems very temperamental to the temperature I brew at. A little too hot and it is harsh. A little too cool and it is sour.
