I am drinking a coffee from Kauai, Hawaii. I friend brought be two pounds of green beans when he recently came back from vacation there. I roasted them to a medium roast yesterday morning and brewed a pot for the office. It is a very nice coffee. Much like the coffees of the South Pacific but with a bit more acid and a very smooth flavor profile.

I roasted a first batch of Bolivian today and really like the bold flavor profile of the 460* roast. (Tomorrow our coffee panel will evaluate the Bolivian at 430*, 440*, 450* and 460*.) Then I'll decide how I want to present this bean for sale in the shop.
