Looking to make a Temporary Web Site until Full Site goes live?

@louisan,

I will try to use Dotster next time for hosting. thank you for that lead.

I checked out "Shopify" and don't thing that for a new business, a $79.00 per month, cost for the hosting, is a prudent move.

I will try to put up a Facebbok page in the next week or two.

Shopify is $29 a month, I would research the options more carefully.

Hope I'm not jumping in too late to be of assistance.

For transparency sake, my name is Nick Green and I work with my father Steve Green of Mill City Roasters.

Long ago, I got suckered into the illustrious life of a web developer, and have been helping family, friends, and clients for years.

I would definitely recommend either Shopify or Wordpress. Both platforms are capable of easy, but extensive, customization.

Wordpress will be cheaper month to month, as it is a free software provided with a wide range of free or paid "add-ons". Shopify is a paid service, but can be incredibly worth the ease of administration and selling. If your plan is to see enough where $30-$60 dollars is inconsequential, I would recommend Shopify.

That being said, I am, at my core skill set, a Wordpress developer. Wordpress will provide a wider range of options off the bat for free, with better expansion opportunities down the road.

If you have any more questions, please ask. I'm sure that a thread full of website advice will be used often on a forum of budding artisans.

what do you think about promotion your restaurant on social media? This is quite an effective way, many people find information there, including through advertising. Also, it is now popular to conduct your channel on YouTube, make promotional videos, and promote your business there. Start is quite simple, the main thing to gather your audience. This service can help you youtubegrow which will give a great start to promotion.

My friends are still developing the site. But now they attract people with the Instagram. They create informational content and launch some giveaways. Additionally, they use the special Smmrank service, which allows you to promote your Instagram posts. It attracts new customers for their coffee business. And then a link to the created site will be added to IG profile.
Very smart strategy, I guess. While the site is being developed, traffic is already being generated.

Be a little cautious with these 'grow your Instgram' services... I used one and it put my business back a bit. I went from 1000 > 3000 users... however, those users are not very engaged in my content (compared to an organic customer). That resulted in my 'IG reputation score' to go down and IG now shows my post less frequently.. my engagement dropped significantly due to this.
