I am mostly interested in drip coffee (8 cup load usually), my daughter mentioned doing cold brew. Budget is $200. I am the first riser in the house so I need either whisper quiet or grind the night before and seal for use in the morning.

I am leaning in the direction of the Breville Smart Brew Pro. This one seems to meet my needs but like to hear the opinions of others.
I was looking at the OXO after the Cuisinart and many others. Maybe there's a better grinder and I find a small container to seal grind over night?

Just some more detail. I am not a coffee aficionado but do enjoy a tasty cup and convenience and ease of use are pretty high on my list.

Thanks for your thoughts on this

I'm a big fan of the Baratza line...
That is a very popular model AFAIK and one of the advantages seems to be replacement parts availability.
How long to grind 6-8 drip cups, approximately?

Just took me 1/2 hour or more to hand grind enough for two days. Not something I don't want to do regularly especially before my first cup.. lol

If not's a sin here what's your music? I am partial to blues-rock
