Want a rock solid non-automated espresso maker. $500 max is my limit.

I want an espresso machine that has dual temp, that is designed to work with proper grind and not baffles, tiny holes, nor spring loaded valve. I don't want it to grind beans, just make good espresso and steams milks. Repairable would be nice, built for 8-10 years of service making 1-2 shot a day, seven days a week.

Can any one advised me on the one listed in link above?

If that is your absolute max on budget I'd recommend a Gaggia Classic. Great price/machine for good/solid espresso. Decent steam quality as well. Can last 8-10 years if preventive maintenance is followed.

No way would I consider any Breville machine if long term reliability/self-repair is something you expect.

The Encore grinder will likely be OK for espresso, but not going to have much range to dial in different coffees. Espresso isn't about grinding fine enough, but more about grind consistency and range. By range I mean if a grinder has 40 settings, 1 being the finest and 40 the coarsest you would want 1-8 or so to be espresso range to give enough flexibility to dial things in.

I agree with the previous response, Gaggia Classic is really a good choice in this case, one of my friends has it and it's truth about its long quality I like also Juna Ena Micro 1, I have this model, it cost me more than 500$ but I think it was worth it, it works good for many years too



Here's also a nice list on cozzy.org with more interesting models which belong to the category you want As I know Delonghi and Keurig coffee makers are a good choice too
