nuova simonelli oscar - replacing solenoid

I have the nuova simonelli oscar 1. I have a new solenoid and my dad and are so close to replacing it. However, we need an Allen wrench to get the last two screws out and no Allen wrench fits it! It’s either just slightly too big or too small. Any advice on how to get these last two screws out?!

Yes, we have tried several sets of different Allen wrenches. Every set is just slightly too bog or too small. It’s strange
