Helllo, I was wondering if anyone out there knows its way around these machines, I currently own a Cimbali M2 superbar, wich is a delight to operate and easy to mantain, however a few months ago I bought a second-hand M3 Cafe Club, The former owner is a decent man who stated that the machine worked properly. The coffee machine arrived with a broken leg apparently the carrier dropped it, the coffee machine, when turned on keeps beeping, apparently the sound comes from the main board, and the diplays light up but it doesn´t show any characters, I had my tecnician check both the group and the service boards and they seem ok. I checked on Pasquini the price for the Main Board and its too expensive and I am not even sure that is the problem.

If anyone out there could give me a hint o point me in the right direction I would appreciate it a lot.

Thanks.

Its hard to say without looking at it. There are a lot of boards in that guy and you may want to have them all pulled out and reseated. Sometimes they get vibrated loose when shipped. But there could be a lot of damage that is hidden. Its hard to tell you what it is without having the machine in front of me.

Thanks, It´s a complicated espresso machine

You are absolutely right, I mean this Cimbali espresso has three boards, the service board, the group board, and finally the main board,I own two M2´s and they are far better and easier to service.
Group board and service board both have been taken out and inserted back in , both group and service boards have been checked, its either a problem with the main board or a general problem of some sort, also the transformer has been checked and appears to be ok.

May have to count this one up as a loss. I'm not a big fan of the M3. If it works its a great machine and can produce far better espresso then a M2. The problem is keeping it working. Stick with your M2's and wait for a S39!
