Help with SAECO Royal Cappuchino Machine frother

Hi,

can anyone help with an answer to this please. We have a Saeco Royal Cappuchine machine, we have never used the cappuchino steamer on the left side of the machine, always only used the frother on the front of the machine activated by the steam dial.

My wife accidentally hit the cappuchino button and ever since then whenever we use the steam dial to activate the frother both the cappuchino steamer on the left and the frother on the front activate.

How do I turn of or disable the cappuchino steamer??

Have you tried calling SAECO customer service?

I found some videos, but I didn't watch any of them. Maybe one of them will help you figure out how to turn the frother or steamer off:
