Greasing bearings interval

How many drum rotating hours do you allow for between greasing the bearings?

I usually do once a month. If I hear a squeak I hit it with a squirt. If it continues I hit it again with a squirt. It usually only needs 1. I roast Monday through Friday from 6 am to 1pm. Hope this helps.

So 7 hours per day, 5 days per week, ~4 weeks per month ~= 140 drum rotating hours between greasing (unless squeaking).

I just wondered what other people are doing.
I have been greasing approximately twice as often, never a squeak.
I will probably continue with my current greasing schedule.
I bought many tubes of Super Lube 41150(*** wrong grease, see below ***) a while ago, so I should be good for many years.

I ordered the wrong grease a while back.
The above link is low temperature grease.

I do every other week.... usually doesn't need much. Roast usually once/twice a week for 4-5 hours per day

US Roasters recommends one squeeze every 20 hours and they specify “Do NOT over grease! Hope this helps

When refilled, my front drum bearing oozes the old grease on the inside, in the drum. I can reach in with a paper towel thru the drop door and wipe it clean.
When refilled, my rear drum bearing oozes the old grease on the outside of the drum where it is easy to clean.
I like to pump enough grease into each bearing so it extrudes all old grease (typically 3 pumps of my grease gun), replacing it with fresh grease.
Some bearings are sealed and can indeed be over-greased - breaking the seals. Mine aren't like that.

I use the old grease on my hair (no I don't).

Looked carefully and is said "Flash point: >220°C(>428°F)" Yikes!

Doh! I ordered (a sizable amount of) Super Lube 41150 2 years ago by mistake.
I was previously using Super Lube 71150 which is high temp.
What a difference one digit makes.....
I will order some 71150.
