Help with my Gaggia Syncrony?

Recently, the "descale" message came up on the display, so I followed the directions for the automatic descaling. I cleaned the machine inside and out at the same time; brew unit, including the removable screen.

Now, I find that there is water in the dreg drawer, excess water in the drip tray, and LESS water in the cup when I brew! I also noted that there are drippy grounds on the removable screen, which I have never seen before. It all looks suspiciously like a leak, but I can't find it.

Any thoughts? Thanks for your review and cleaning tips!

The coffee the machine brews does not seem to be very hot, I wind up microwaving it.

I do put milk in it, but just about a tablespoon. Even without the milk, the coffee is not very hot.

I''ve found the coffee this machine makes is not that hot. Everything else about it is as you''ve reviewed it, but I like a really hot cup of coffee.

If you do not drink the coffee immediately after brewing, it is luke warm. at best. I do heat the cup and it helps a bit but not enough.
