This is my first post and if I've missed finding the info I'm asking I am sorry.
This will be a new business I'm looking at starting, so any info you can supply would be great.
1-I would be roasting my own beans, so where in Canada is a good place to buy beans, or is it better to get from the US (shipping fees, import taxes and everything else that would be added)
2-I would be looking at buying a used roaster, your thoughts on what I should look for and or what I need. The 2k Roaster Authority Victory seems like a good size for what I want to do and for around $5000 for used seems good. Your thoughts.
3-From what I've read there seem to be a lot of trial and error when starting and getting your roasts just right, are there any books on the subject worth reading, or is try and try again till you get something that is good.
Of course I have other questions, where do you get your coffee bags, would I need a bean grinder or just worry about whole beans to start with.
Thanks again for your input.
