Breville Dual Temp Pro water does not shut off

Someone gave me a Breville Dual Temp Pro (BES810), it works great except water
(or steam) starts flowing as soon as the machine is powered on and does
not stop until it is powered off. Can anyone give me advice or point me
to how to fix this?

As in flowing from the group? Wand? Not sure if that machine has volumetric control, but if so it could be that not sensing flow/volume properly and keeping the pump going. Could also be a circuit board issue as Breville machines tend to have various problems within a few yrs of use based on lots of online complaints.
