Best Affordable Espresso/Coffee Machine?

I'm looking for a dual espresso machine (brews both coffee and espresso's/latte's) that's in between the price range of 150-300$. I'm currently looking at a Krups machine, but I'd really appreciate some input from those who have tried/have a dual machine. thanks so much in advance.

I "cut my teeth" on a Capresso BAR351 dual function machine and it worked better than I initially expected. Downsides to them is the size and the inability to use both functions at the same time due to the electrical current consumed. Most machines like this will have thermo coil or thermo block heating systems, which are OK, but have some limitations. Most of them also used a pressurized brew system in one form or another. My advice would be to look for a decent espresso machine and skip a drip coffee function as it's far better to make Americanos with espresso as your base than to bother with weak/flavorless drip coffee. You will see what I mean once you become hooked on espresso.
