1917 silex coffee filter (maker)

My parents have an old silex coffee maker (called filters back then) from 1915-1918 (I think) with original box. The box isn’t the greatest and the pot metal is deteriorating. All glass is intact.

Only seen a picture of one in museum from NH.

Wondering if anybody has seen one in person to give an exact date

That's cool! I've never seen one before. I wouldn't know how to use it, but it would be neat if you figured it out and brewed some coffee with it.
