Which Coffee do you like most?

where did you get Nekisse? and how did you prepare?

Our coffee shop had it in quite a while back now, we roasted it light for filter as espresso didn't quite do it justice.
We tried it through most methods, Chemex, Swiss gold filter, syphon, but mainly 2 cup V60 washed paper filter 28g medium grind with 445g water. So unique so fruity very blueberry and melon it was almost like drinking tea.
Sadly our last order was lost when the ship carrying the green beans was sabotaged by pirates. True story.

I used to like Starbucks the most but then I suddenly realized that I have been spending a lot on coffee. So I switched back to home made coffee. It is cheaper and convenient to people like me who have small budget..

Was drinking medium roast from Tim Hortons (Canada's Dunkin' Donuts) and at home.

When I bought a Keurig K50, I found the medium roasts very weak. I was then advised to use dark roasts and extra bold coffee for it.
Then eventually, I woke up one morning and not only did the Keurig coffee taste bitter, my old coffee 12 cup pot tasted off and plastic like.

Now I'm wondering if the low humidity in my home could have caused it.

Favorite? I'll have to narrow it down to Green Mountain Dark magic for the Keurig. McCafe or Tims for the regular coffee maker.

Starbucks does serve some good specialty coffees. I suppose I rarely opt to buy anything from them, as I find their prices outrageous. No coffee,
specialty or not should cost $8 or more.

My two favorite coffees of all time and it's not even close both seem to have been discontinued. Would anyone who has had experience with either or both of these varieties and may have suggestions for comparable varieties please post? Life is not the same. Thank you.

Starbucks Rwanda Rift Valley

Millstone Chocolate Velvet

More info: I have tried Starbucks Mocha and Dunkin Donuts Chocolate Glazed Donut and found both to be terrible. I drink my coffee black w/ an ice cube. I like darker varieties.

3rd Favorite all time: Lavazza Caffe Espresso (ground) made in a regular drip coffee maker

P.S. beans, ground, k-cup...no instant.

Today, I am drinking Kenya coffee. Personally, Kenya is the most complex and also most balanced coffee among all the coffees that I had tried.
Medium body with wine-tone acidity & sweet fruit.

if you have a chance to try out SL28 from kenya, that would be a wonderful experience for you guys.
By the way, I have heard that Kenya coffee organization is pushing for new hybrid varietals that can resist coffee diseases, but the flavor profile is much inferior than the original Kenya varietals. Hope that they will continue to produce old varietals for people like us.
