Tips on exporting coffee from El Salvador

Hi guys,

I'm new the forum here and just wanted to get some pointers on my new coffee business. My girlfriend and I just moved to El Salvador a few weeks ago from Ireland with the idea of exporting coffee.

We have several great coffees lined up already but it seems you have to order the coffee about six months in advance and after the harvest is over there's no real chance of ordering more coffee. Is there anyone here who started up their own export business? how did you deal with this?

Also, we currently know a few roasters and coffee shop owners both in Europe and the US but we'd really like to get in contact with many more. Does anyone have any advice or contacts?

Any help would be much appreciated.
