My wife and I will be buying an existing coffee shop and it's been run by a semi-micromanager the last 4-5 years. The owner hasn't wanted to have shift managers which is something I think is essential.
What I am wondering, is how many of you use them? How do you implement it in your shop(s)? If you don't use them, why?
