Well, I didn't just start somewhere, but what I didn't know was the scale was badly out of calibration, and the calibration mode would not bring it into accuracy, I took the scale apart today which basically broke it but it was broken anyway, but couldn't find any cause for the calibration to do what it was doing.no worries... we are all here to learn and we all start somewhere.
I tested the new scale, didn't have any gram weights, but I did have a part from something that I weighed a few years ago and marked it on the box, that part came out to the exact same weight as was listed, not a real for sure way of measuring, but it has to be darn near right on since both measurements agree with one another.
