Newbie looking for advice on roasting good quality green beans HELP!

lol. The big company. We only have 15 stores...good thing is we have 5 more ready to open. In a year I won't have time to wholesale to anyone else! It's a good problem to have!

You have to be careful roasting so dark so the beans don't start on fire!

exactly! i thought the entire batch was going to burst into flames. sure was a lot of smoke created too, and a distinct smell of charred coffee.
never again!

I would love to also buy some Topher's but he works for the big company. I think he also should start his own coffee roaster.... ;)
I've had Tophers beans (what up Chris lol), quite good (bought their espresso blend), stopped by his place last year. We moved further South so haven't really been up in that area, or if I am like downtown Delray it's way late out past their operating hours ;) lol. They have a nice roastery setup.

Humm, this is all very new for me but roasting looks very interesting and thriving !
I love the association of transforming a product using machine, fire and control all of that. A bit like alchemy but with easier results to get than transforming lead in gold ;)

As soon as I have my home I will think of this. But I will for sure need to work hard to get something good...
