New Coffee Machine, Please suggest :)

Hello I'm new here and new to be coffee drink.:coffeemug:
In japan many of people drink tea.

I need suggestion about coffee machine. My brother are coming back to Japan. He living in USA right now for work and travel program.

He asked me if I want any gift. I think I want him to buy a coffee maker.
After I searched over the internet and I am interested in Bonavita BV1800 (I read the review from Bonavita BV1800 Review )

Can anyone please suggest me should I buy Bonavita?
I don't have any chance to try because in Tokyo I can not anyone sell this brand.

I actually like Japanese brand coffee brewer and I use them I like Hario coffee brewer...

Take a look on Amazon, and you'll see some nice reviews of the Bonavita.

I'm not sure if you're interested in the model with a thermal carafe or if you want the glass carafe. This one is the thermal carafe.
