You should know youre getting Fairtrade coffee because throughout every process of the chain (Growing /Exporter/Importer and roaster) there is a system to guarantee the integrity of the coffee.
Each of the people processing the coffee have a 'flo' number (a kind of registration ) for tracability purposes.
If youre not sure ask to see it!!.... in fact it should be visible along with the copyrighted Fairtrade logo.
