I've had similar ideas as BCCC: open mic, jazz nights, etc. A musician myself, I continue to encourage others to play and would love to have a small venue for local talent. John, I loved all of your input regarding gimmicks and will stay strong when the random teenager wants to strum his guitar arbitrarily.
