I need a favor. Can any of you please post some pictures of your roaster set up? Having a nightmare of a time trying to pass inspection. Every time they come to inspect they add something new. They now want large yellow safety poles around the roaster to protect the electric ran to the...
Sounds like your gap between the drum and the face plate is too wide. They should have given you a tool that is in the shape of a question mark. You can move the drum forward or back. The trick is to do it when it is really hot, If not when the roaster heats up the metal will expand and...
Nice! I am just south of Y'all. Musicphan hit it on the nose. Not going to be able to replicate. Trust me you will be much happier with the drum roaster over a hot air roaster. Post pics of your set up if you have a chance...love seeing other peoples set up.
I am assuming you are a home roaster? I can't imagine weighing my 150 lb sacks to see if they shorted me a few ounces. If you are talking smaller quantities for home roasting....I would reach out to the person you bought from. They might not realize they were shorting you. Let us know if you...
13 minutes is fast. I get it...its how a lot of the new school roasters roast. Anytime I taste coffee roasted between 9 and 13 minutes it tastes as if it had not been rested. It tastes grassy.
I am a bit confused. Entry temperature? Do you mean the temp you are dropping the coffee into the drum? If so...that is really low. Even if you are talking Celsius vs Fahrenheit that is really low. What roaster and size are you using, how much coffee are you roasting at a time and how long...
Yo! Welcome to the forums! Do you have a storefront? I am making a trip to inspect some of our stores soon in Orlando and will pop in if you do. First question. The bags on your site are the style you are using? Or are you using the ones on your insta. Please tell me you switched from...
I started to suggest that you tell them that you are small but also a master of your trade. Then I read your last sentence. How long have you been roasting? Personally I would never put a clause in there about consistency. They could argue over something they do not even understand. I have...
I am going to go out on a limb and say it is the coffee. Switch to a better quality coffee. The coffee you are drinking has robusta in it. I HATE robusta. It hurst my stomach, I get jittery and want to fight everyone when I drink it. I personally will not drink it ever again. Go with a...
I walked into a roasting job once that the previous roaster had bought trash coffee. I had around 20 bags I couldn't use. We built a couch out of I believe 15 of them. Put a price tag on what the amount we would have made buy the cup and and a disclaimer that shipping and assembly was not...
You can pick up a toddy maker pretty cheap...

You need to find a coffee roaster that does private label/white label. Hit me up I can walk you through the process and pricing [email protected] I have been doing white label/private label for years.
When I am not making my own edibles I use concentrates. A wee rice sized drop and good to go. I will try this weekend with coffee and let you know. I am going to add the concentrate to the brewed coffee not the grounds....keep you posted 😮💨🥴😵💫😴

Hi,
I need an image of the control panel of the user's machine.
If you can send me this image and serial number, I might be able to help.
If the user cannot send the image and share the serial number, the general user guide is as attached...
Question, How did you load your hopper with the ceiling so low? Surprised no one has jumped on this. Looks like a pretty good machine. Probably would clean up nice. Just knock out the cob webs, little degreaser and she might look ok.
I've never used a popcorn popper for coffee...loads of people do it though. I bought a toy off amazon and love it! It's called a Kaldi Home roaster. Check it out...reasonably priced. I bought mine off amazon..

as for using your popcorn popper...take notes when you...
I had a friend who also had high blood pressure and doc said cut back on the coffee. He did but not the amount but the process. He went from drinking espresso and french press all day to filtered coffee all day..results? His blood pressure dropped.
Yeah...I've roasted it all. Hated roasting Malabar and wont roast robusta anymore. I used to play with a small percentage of robusta in an espresso blend but stopped. Don't need to boost your crema if you are using fresh coffee.
I would reach out to the manufacturer. Did they stop making the 10kilos? I just went to their site and they offer 2 , 5 and 12 for shop roasters. Email them that you purchased a used machine and need the manual. They should be able to sort you out. Next find a local fabricator as well a...
Find a local roaster and invest in a decent burr grinder. As for drinking instant? I personally would rather not drink coffee then. My folks give me a hard time. Every time we go for a meal they get coffee after. I decline. They say," I can't believe you have been in the coffee biz your...
It is kind of scary what ChatGPT can do. I love it but it could be bad for education. I can see kids imputing their homework/assignments and not learning anything. That is scary.
