You mean Starbucks can actually make a good espresso?

Think we all know the typical burnt taste of Starbucks. However my gf said she's had their anniversary blend before when it's available, which it is now. So picked up a half bag of of their 2011 Anniversary Bold and Spicy, I was surprisingly surprised, it's pretty good. Made a good espresso, but I liked it a lot when I made an iced coffee using it. You can definitley taste the "boldness" and "spice" in it, it didn't have that typical acidic/burnt taste that Starbucks coffee normally has. When I just made an iced coffee with it, I just made some espresso, mixed some splenda in, dumped in glass of ice, poured milk in... and had one of the most refreshing iced coffee's I've ever had, that same smooth spice flavor to the beans carries well as an iced coffee.

Found this online with a lil about it:
The butter coffee tasting: Starbucks Anniversary Blend
