My first cup of coffee was a vanilla latte from caribou coffee when I was sixteen. Don't judge but I hated it at first! I didn't become a coffee lover until I was in college.

Even when I was quite small my parents or, more often, grandparents would occasionally give me a cup with a little coffee and a lot of milk and some sugar as a treat, especially on cold mornings. When I was 17 and went away to school, I began drinking coffee regularly with breakfast. In neither case, do I have any idea what the coffee was.

My parents were freeze dried coffee drinkers so no wonder I didn't like it when I was growing up but I do remember my first cup when I thought "this ain't so bad". I was stationed in Germany and hung over one morning in the mess hall having breakfast and my buddy said you should try some coffee it will perk you up, so I did and have been a morning coffee drinker ever since.
