By just looking at coffee packaging I have noted this is consistently on coffee packaging

1) Ingredients - Usually "100% Arabica Coffee"
2) Weight of coffee
3) Some type of "Roasted in" or "packaged in" or "Manufactured in" - Could someone clarify the legal writing that has to be on packaging for this part?

For example if the coffee was imported from Columbia, Roasted in New York City and Packaged in Boston or something - How much of this info do you need to put on the packaging. Could someone help with this?

4)"Best Used By" date - Does it have to be worded a certain way?

Am I missing anything?

I'm just wondering what is absolutely essential to be on coffee packaging as a friend wants me to package his coffee but doesn't know what needs to be included on his design.

If anyone could help with this it would be certainly appreciated!

Are you asking from a legal or marketing standpoint?

Legally, I don't think anyone cares about the country of origin or city in which beans are packaged. Company name, contact info and net weight would prolly suffice.

From a marketing prospective, Country of origin might be nice if not a blend from various locations.

Organic offerings need to include specific lot numbers.

Logos are nice.....
