We’ve all had good coffee… but then there’s that one cup that’s on a whole different level. For me, it was in a tiny café during a rainy morning. I ordered a cappuccino without expecting much, but the first sip was so rich and smooth I literally stopped mid-sentence. The mix of fresh beans, steamed milk, and that rainy-day vibe… chef’s kiss.

Since then, I’ve been chasing that perfect cup — sometimes I get close, sometimes not even close 😅.

💬 So tell me — where were you when you had your most unforgettable coffee? Was it the beans, the brew method, or just the moment?

There were several truly memorable cups for me. The first was an espresso in Treviso that demonstrated an intensity i'd never before experienced, the second was soon after i moved to the US, a Bluebottle espresso that had such tasty character. the third was a pourover Yigracheffe that truly set my expectations for what single-origin coffee can be.

Won't honestly say every demitasse every day is mind blowing due to neverending variables at play, but each day is a simple reminder of why I'd damn glad I started doing my own roasting/extracting as nothing else I've had anywhere has ever came remotely close.
