Hello everyone. This is my first time on this forum and all of the information I've seen in the past 2hours is fantastic. My wife and I have talked about opening a coffee shop since we were dating in High School and we've finally started our dream. Well kind of. As of now we sell Danesi Espresso online and do mostly catering with homemmade pastries etc. This is all new to us, so any advice would be great. On a side note, we chose Danesi because I've tried a lot of differant coffees and that was our favorite, so we figured lets sell what we like. I don't know how to roast beans so basically we buy, sell, cater etc.. Thanks for your time, I'm looking forward to learning so much. I can see this site is filled with extremely knowledgeable people.

Hello "MasellisCoffeeHouse"

Welcome!

You found the perfect place to get information about the world of coffee.

Your comment about all the information you've seen in two hours made me laugh, because it happened to me, too. When I first started visiting the Coffee forums website, I couldn't believe how many hours went by as I explored, and read, and asked questions. I quickly found the search feature (at the top left of the screen) and I happily wandered reading post after post! Sometimes I still have a difficult time managing my time, because there is always so much to learn here at the Coffee Forums!

Congratulations on starting working towards your dream. It sounds like you're off to a good start..... and now it's an even better start now that you've found the Coffee Forums website.

Thanks! I built my own website something Ive never done before, and Im always looking for new ways to make it better, easier to navigate etc. Any suggestions on how we can Improve our website? Maselliscoffeehouse.com
Also I would like to start practicing and playing with roasting coffee beans, Im having some problems here in North TX trying to find raw/green beans.

Your having trouble getting green coffee? What kind of volume are you talking about? Can you handle full sacks or are you trying to buy split bags?

This website has been very very helpful and I am so thankful that all of you who share your stories, experiences, fails & successes. Most places I've been nobody wants to share how they do or what they do, they just want to sell you their product. I've learned so much over the past few weeks I've been a member. I even started taking notes and studying the forums. I appreciate all of you.
Thanks & God Bless!

There are many suppliers of green beans on the web. Google will pull up most of them by entering "buy green coffee beans."

Let me know if you need further assistance.
