Mod your Breville DuoTemp Espresso Machine to take your espresso game to the next level.
The following mods were bought and/or custom machined to fit my Breville Duotemp Pro model bes810bss, which takes a 53mm basket.
They helped me substantially improve the quality of my espresso shots.
- Bottomless Portafilter ($120 Canadian retail)
- VST or IMS baskets x 2 ($40 x 2 = $80 retail)
- IMS Shower Screen + screw ( $75 retail)
- Enhanced brass water distribution head (fits between the screen and the water outlet) - worth $50
- Custom built Variac type dimmer (for variable pump pressure/flow control) - worth $50
- dosing cylinder/funnel (to facilitate dosing and WDT grinds distribution) - $50 retail
- professional tamper (controls tamping pressure through a spring, for tamping pressure consistency) - $75 retail
