Seasonal business fluctuations..

I'm curious as to the amount of seasonal variation seen in the coffee business. Anyone care to share their personal observations/experiences?

In one of your earlier posts, you mentioned that you're located in the midwest. We have a number of forum members who are located in your region of the country who probably will be able to answer your question.

Are you looking for any particular information regarding seasonal variation? For example, are you interested in what kinds of coffee drinks, blended drinks, etc. are sold during the seasons. Or perhaps the volume of sales in winter vs. summer?

I'm interested in volume of sales fluctuations.

We are located in a College town and as such see a LARGE variation in turn of lower sales in the summer. Being in a College Town has advantages and disadvantages, the big disadvantage is that EVERYONE revolves around the college and as such professors and professionals leave when the students do as well. It's pretty slim pickins in the summer months, but the fall and spring totally make up for it.
