I roast on probat L-12 and L-25, they seem to not be collecting chaff properly and its burning up around the drum, I believe I have poor airflow, But the airflow on the L-12 is great but still doesnt collect chaff properly. Another issue is the front plate{bearings?} one way it squeaks the other way it rubs. I've had the belt pop off from being to tight. I need answers and guidance. Please help

The L series Probats have allot of nice features, but their airflow has issues.
Do you know if your machines have the proper gearing? Many L series machines have just had their 50 hz motors replaced with 60 hz motors.
This would give you 17% too much airflow!
The chaff collection solution in the L series is a compromise solution.
If you are feeling up to it, a Probat UG style chaff collector will do a much better job.
All of this "stuff" you are experiencing is why many users go to separate drive motors for each function.
Have you checked the rpm of the drum? If it is over 61 rpm then you probably have Euro gearing. This can all be cured with the right size pulleys, but I always recommend separate motors with Variable Frequency Drives which will allow you to alter both speeds and enhance your profiling flexibility.
