Hey everyone,

Is anyone familiar with the process of converting a Diedrich IR-12 from propane to natural gas? Does it just involve changing fittings or are new burners needed too?
Any insight on this would be great.

Thanks

Depending on the way it is set up, you'll at minimum need larger orifices for your burner(s). If you have a pilot light, you'll need a larger orifice for that and probably a conversion kit for your gas valve.

This is all easy stuff and you should be able to get the parts form Diedrich for a nominal charge.

If you are running a Honeywell Combination valve you will need to change the spring kit. Simple instructions. After changing the orifice on the burner you will, maybe not, readjust the air/gas mixture. You are looking for a blue flame and not all yellow. Orifices and spring kit I think I paid around 25.00 when I converted mine and I purchased some extras also.
