I have an L5 Probat and have a question on temps. As anyone who has an older L5, you know that they have only one temp guage. Its located just below the intake funnel. Sadly to say that when you look into the hatch on the funnel while the beans are turning, the beans are no where near the temp probe. Am I getting an accurate bean temp? If this inaccurate, then how does one compensate without installing and therefore drilling holes for a thermocoupler. I talked with the tech from Probat and he suggested that oone should figure about 100 degree difference in temp. So if the temp guage reads 400 then the beans are at 300. Any thoughts on this ml?

I have been looking for a company that offers home bean roasters, but I can't find any company who allows sites like mine, to sell their roasters. Does anyone have some information on a good coffee roaster company that allows sites to sell their roasters. Please let me know.
