Older Diedrich IR12 for sale in Texas

Hello there, we've been looking at this Diedrich. Do you have an idea of how much it would be to get that motor fixed or new motor?

I can only guestimate that a motor (Lesson, I believe) would run $300-400. If you are mechanically inclined, you could replace it yourself. It's not that difficult.
 
This looks interesting, I emailed for more info on the roaster and availability, This is kinda old but a solid roaster. My thoughts on it would be a complete tear down and cleaning, replace all bearings, replace gas valves, seals over time dry out just to be safe. I would budget a couple thousands to get it into a dependable production status. JMO
 
I to tried contacting seller with out success, I live about 1100 miles from him, would have flown down to pick up and bring it home. top quality roaster in my opinion, would have been a fun project with allot of upside.
