Anyone roasted the new swp decaf coffee? It its so much better! Beans use to be so dark before you roasted that it was a pain to watch the bean develope...now its a nice light green and a dream to roast!

How does the new process cup? Do you think it is packing more flavor or just more roaster friendly? Which varieties have you tried?

Questionable…

No link, but IIRC it's Swiss process but at a lower water temperature to preserve flavor. I read it on the interwebs. :p

I took a sample and had it analyzed. The green color can be washed off and a brownbean is left.

Looks more like a green dye at this point but the lab has not finished theevaluation.

If it turns out to be a dye then I question the toxicity during roasting.

I will post when I get the final results.
