Hello fellow coffee lovers. Im in my mid 30s, male, happily married and I have 2 children. While I really enjoy a great cup of coffee and can be quite discriminating over it, I do not consider myself a "coffee snob". Wow, Ive been around the coffee culture for a very short time and already Im annoyed with the term "coffee snob", anyway its good to be here to learn and discuss one of lifes great blessings, coffee. Currently I enjoy the cheaper pre-ground Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts coffee from the grocery store, brew it in a Bunn drip machine and stir in some heavy whipping cream everyday. Occasionally on the weekends, the wife and I will enjoy a cup of Starbucks espresso ground with a blade grinder and prepared in a Starbucks barista espresso machine. We also enjoy using a french press occasionally. What brings me here today is, Im ready to step up my coffee drinking experience. My Bunn machine is finally malfunctioning, probably just bad seals but its a good enough excuse to go to a better machine.Im thinking Tecnivorm. Ive had the privilege of travel around the US, Caribbean, central America and Ive had some great coffee, specifically Jamaican blue mountain coffee and fresh coffee in El Salvador (not sure what kind). I noticed Jamaicans dont really drink it too much and El Salvadorians drink it no matter the heat and humidity. Now that I know the world has better coffee than Folgers and Maxwell house, Im here to learn and try new things. So happy sipping everyone!
