Keeping brewed coffee fresh?

Hello, people. Is there a way to keep my brewed coffee fresh for 15 ± 3 hours? I tried putting it in a thermos and I'm drinking it now. It's sour and I'm having a hard time swallowing it. I kept it in the fridge for the whole 15 hours.

Is there another way to prepare and drink coffee(cold or hot) that was brewed 15 hours ago? Can I put it in the fridge in an unsealed container?

Using the Thermos would be the best way to keep the coffee fresh. If your thermos is made out of glass, it should be okay for 3-4 hours but after, it would lose its flavor and freshness. But I never experienced coffee being sour after many hours in thermos.

i usually drink brewed coffee within the next 5-6 hours. i have not tried more than that though.
