I have a problem with drink preparation

Today I went to a coffee bar with very high expectations and was horribly let down. First off I was greated like I had no business being there then when it came to my cappuccino made from a beautiful La Marzocco with a sub par espresso blend, my 8oz cap came with about 2/3 milk and only a teaspoon of foam on it, and to top it off the aftertaste lingered in a terrible way. So after that we down the street to another local coffee bar and my wife ordered a 16oz cappuccino only to receive hers with "latte" art, pretty tough to do on a correctly prepared cappuccino! Is this starting to become the norm in a lot of bars or am I just unlucky today? Thanks for letting me rant!
