I am not sure about your question. Do you mean what is the start up cost for opening a roastery? Or how much will it cost for you to have someone teach you. I am sure you can pay a local roaster to train you. As for what they will charge that is anyones guess...I charge anywhere from $80 to $110 an hour depending on where I have to travel to do the training. There are a few roasting schools out there. Hope this helps.

If you are asking how much it costs for a coffee roaster then a price would start at 300.00USD. That would get you a Behmoor 1600 which does a pretty good job. Average shop Roaster is around 11,000. Small sample roasters around 6000.00

You can get into this for less than $150 and have a great setup. I've been into it for a couple of years and see no advantage to the high $ machines. That Behmoor 1600 is now listing at $370...
