How do I stop my coffee maker from making coffee that tastes like plastic?

hi..
I just bought a 4-cup coffee maker to replace my broken Krups.
The directions mentioned that, before making the first cup of coffee,
I should run water through the system first. I did this,
but even after a month of using the coffee maker every day, the coffee tastes like plastic.
I've been using the same filters, water, and coffee as I did in my old machine,
so it has to be the new coffee maker. How do I get the plastic taste out of my coffee?

pls suggest! :)

If you have been putting up with it for months and can't wash away the taste, my advice would be to take it back to the store and get a replacement and see if it was just yours or the make of coffee maker

If you've been using the same filter and coffee, then it's probably the coffee maker itself. I agree with everyone else, take it back.

If you willing to spend about $300, I recommend the Technivorm Moccamaster KBT-741 Review and Comparison Prices | Drip Coffee Maker Masters. It's certified bySpecialty Coffee Association of America
