I have a Saeco Magic Espresso machine, not the automatic or semi-automatic. Shame on me, but I didn't use it for about a year. It just sat on the counter. I cleaned it up and got ready to use it again when I found that the pump does not want to prime. With this model, you fill the reservoir, turn on the main switch, then open up the panarello to pour several ounces of water.
The pump makes the noise it should and bubbles or a little drizzle come out from the panarello nozzle, but that's it. I thought maybe my neglect meant that it needed a little help so I took a turkey baster and tried to force feed the intake tube during the priming process. Still no luck.
Worked well before I stopped using it. Any ideas how to get it primed? thx
