gaggia syncrony compact over fill problem

hi,

i am new to coffee machines and i purchased a second hand gaggia syncrony compact machine,

i am having a problem with it over filling cups, im getting about 75 to 100 ml in a single serving, i have tried changing the grinding settings to a finer grind but its still the same,

does anyone have any ideas how to fix this.
