Drawer for coffee grounds is missing on a SAECO auLika Office

Hello folks,
I hope you are having all a very good dey.
I bought this Saeco auLika Office machine (automatique coffee machine) brand new, still in the box,
but without that drawer for coffee grounds (I didn't know it was necessary for the machine to work).

Please if anyone have any idea how to "fool" the machine to make it work without this drawer.
Anything like hiding this drawer sensors and placing another plastic container underneath it.

I had the same issue with a second hand machine. I used the magnet from a souvenir fridge magnet and a Bandaid to bypass the sensor under the machine. Just stick it directly onto the sensor with the bandaid, but you’ll have to remove and replace it every once in a while since the machine will think the dreg drawer is full. That’s how I got my machine for $50!

Why not just buy a drawer and be done with it? This parts company may be able to help. (You didn't state your model so I couldn't drill down to the exact part.)
