Hey all, new here. :coffee:

Guess you could say I'm a bit of a coffee "newb", not in the sense that I've just started drinking coffee, been drinking it on and off since I was a kid, (I get on coffee "kicks", no pun intended. Ok, kinda intended ... :coffee1:) but I've just recently been wanting to become a bit more of a connoisseur, and I've been wondering as I've been tasting alot of different brands and flavors ... do the dark roasts, and even burnt roasts, have more caffeine content in them than the lighter and medium roasts? i.e. does longer roasting bring out more caffeine in the bean? My guess is yes just because I seem to get a bit more jittery when I drink darker roasts, but I'm wondering if this is just psychosomatic, lol.

p.s. Love the look of the forum!
