Designing A Dashboard to connect to coffeeshop POS wanted some feedback

Hello Coffee Addicts,

I am designing a dashboard to connect to a POS (Point of Sales) system and I wanted some feedback about some topics:

• How do you manage your finances currently?

• What difficulties have you faced managing the coffee shop finances?

• Do you use any POS system

• How do you visualize the data currently?

• If you were to want to view data what information would you want to focus on?

• Would you prefer a visual representation (e.g graphs) or numbers?

• Do any of you have dashboards. And if so what do they show?

This would be of great use to me as I want to understand what more coffee shop owners think so I can design a more dynamic product.

Do you think you need a cash terminal or a POS system?

Well, preferably, you have to work with both. Nevertheless, we all know that physic money in in extinction. Nowadays, everything is based on virtual money. Even the cryptocurrencies are now available for a lot of places. That, by the way, will never be capable of processing by a cash terminal. However, a POS terminal cash register can easily do more things. It can be set up the way you want it to be. It’s good to know, though, that a lot of people still use money in cash, so as I’ve said before, it’s better to use both systems!
