This is another thread where the original message was posted in 2008. Lately, some people (especially new members) have been replying to messages that were in some very old threads.

We all need to take a look at when the messages were posted before replying to them. When you read a person's message, you will see the date when it was posted in the top left corner of the message box. Once you see an old date, you may change your mind about replying.

Another thing to be aware of is that the new forum design has a "similar threads" section at the bottom of each thread, and it contains some very old posts.

An easy way to read through the forum postings is to Edit your Account Settings to show the most recent messages first. Scroll up to the top right of your screen and select Settings. Then scroll the left side to General. Then in the thread area, select Linear-Newest First. Save your changes.

That way , you can see the most recent posts first and scroll down as you read them. I found that this makes things much easier for me to keep up with the forum postings.
