cold coffee

hi people....im not big on coffeee or know much about it; however, i have grown quite fond of those cold starbucks brand coffees sold in the refrigerator section of store.....do you guys know how i can make my own without heating........what i mean is....do you guys know a common coffee which will dissolve pretty well in cold milk, and perhaps sink to the bottom so that im not drinking the gritty stuff?

Toddy sells a brewer that uses cold water to brew. It makes great cold coffee.

I picked up an Hourglass Cold Coffee system (http://www.hourglasscoffee.com/) and it's been wokking nice for me.

A day to brew the extract. Then I just dilute the extract with water (hot or cold) to make what I want.

I used to have the old original toddy maker which makes more but for some reason I like the hourglass more...maybe its the clean up is easier...
